Italian luxury brand Zegna brought its Oasi Zegna vision to Dubai with a show inspired by desert landscapes, live music, and fluid tailoring.
Held at the Dubai Opera—transformed into “Villa Zegna” for the week—the presentation paid tribute to founder Ermenegildo Zegna’s legacy of seeing beyond, imagining fashion as a lived experience.

Artistic director Alessandro Sartori unveiled a collection shaped by real-world wear. Jackets were tied at the waist, loafers were worn like slippers, and garments were faded and crinkled to mimic the effects of sun and time.
The silhouettes were loose and deconstructed, with jackets as light as shirts, boxy versions of the Il Conte, and pajama-striped suits. Shirts doubled as outerwear, leather coats were ultra-light, and pieces like anorak knits and cardigan jackets blurred categories. Accessories included soft moccasins, wraparound sunglasses, and oversized bags.

The palette featured tonal shades such as bianco Oasi, burro di montagna, and caligine, contrasted with vibrant notes like olio, cognac, ciclamino, and fumo. Textures ranged from summer Shetland blends to jacquard linen-wool, silk poplins, knitted leather, and hemp canvas—many crafted using Oasi Lino.
Sartori described the collection as grounded in lived experiences. “There is an immediacy and a liveliness to the earthy allure,” he said, citing inspiration from a photo of clothes casually draped on a chair—“a life lived intensely.” He emphasized that wearers complete the design process, giving garments meaning in daily life.

Founded in 1910, Zegna’s roots lie in the mountains of Piedmont, northern Italy. In the Philippines, Zegna is exclusively distributed by Stores Specialists, Inc. and is located at Greenbelt 3.
