The BiyaHero Road Safety Caravan, NLEX Corporation’s annual initiative, recently concluded its fourth installment at the SMX Convention Center Manila. In partnership with the Philippine Commercial Vehicle Show, the caravan continuously commits to reducing road crashes nationwide by empowering over 300 drivers, operators, and transport leaders with vital knowledge and practical skills. NLEX Corporation Officer-In-Charge Luis S. Reñon emphasized that the event’s presence is a “commitment to saving lives” through education and collaboration. Participants engaged in intensive sessions covering accident prevention, traffic compliance, and vehicle maintenance, where experts from the DOTr, LTO, Shell, and NLEX provided insights on safe cargo handling, traffic enforcement, journey risk assessment, and emergency preparedness. Interactive activities, including a driving simulator and “drunk goggles,” provided impactful, hands-on learning experiences, underscoring the importance of proactive road safety measures.
