Participants took part in lectures and hands-on demonstrations covering basic lifesaving, water survival techniques, boat handling, and Water Search and Rescue (WASAR), including methods for low-visibility water scenarios.

“This initiative aims to enhance interoperability and build disaster response capabilities among all participating agencies, while fostering a shared culture of readiness and resilience,” the Navy said.

The four-day training, which began on June 24, also aimed to strengthen coordination and interoperability between military and civilian disaster responders.
