PLDT Home flew five subscribers and their companions to Seoul for an immersive “Squid Game” experience, in a first-of-its-kind partnership between a Philippine telecommunications firm and Netflix.
The three-day, all-expenses-paid trip included content creators and K-culture influencers Happee Sy Go, Kring Kim, and Kristel Fulgar, who joined the winners in touring popular Korean landmarks and taking part in Squid Game: The Experience, an interactive attraction based on the hit Netflix series.

The activity was held ahead of the upcoming release of the show’s final season and was part of a campaign launched by PLDT Home in April. The company said the promotion aligns with its efforts to expand entertainment offerings beyond home internet connectivity.
“This journey to Seoul is a testament to our unwavering commitment to go beyond connectivity and deliver truly unforgettable experiences,” said Patrick S. Tang, PLDT Home’s first vice president for Acquisition Marketing.

PLDT Home launched the promo through a nationwide campaign that included in-store activities at major malls. The company described the initiative as its first flyaway project with Netflix, signaling more collaborations to come.
“This is just the beginning of many more exciting rewards and immersive experiences,” Tang added.
The telco is currently offering the PLDT Home Fiber Netflix Plan 1599, which includes speeds of up to 300 Mbps and a Netflix Basic subscription.
