The commercial section of the Philippine embassy in Brussels, IC design solutions company Xinyx Design and High Tech NL co-host a sectoral briefing at High Tech Campus Eindhoven which showcased the Philippines’ competence in integrated circuit (IC) design. The briefing aligns with the thrust of the Philippine Semiconductor and Electronics Industry Advisory Council (SEIAC), chaired by Special Assistant to the President Frederick Go, to elevate the country’s competitiveness in high-value semiconductor segments such as IC design. SEIAC aims to generate 128,000 new jobs by 2030 and position the Philippines as a globally recognized IC design hub.
