Miss Charm 2024 Rashmita Rasindran arrived in Manila for a two-day official visit. The 25-year-old model from Selangor, Malaysia was warmly welcomed by officials from The Miss Philippines organization, Miss Charm Philippines 2025 Cyrille Payumo, and Miss Charm Philippines 2024 Kayla Jean Carter.
Rasindran charmed and easily connected with members of the press during a meet-and-greet event held at Bueno Tapas & Wine Restaurant in BGC, Taguig, on Sunday. The statuesque, dark beauty will also grace a charity event during her stay in the country.
Rasindran, who holds a degree in English and communications, is a curriculum designer and social activist. She is the founder of Femmer Force Forward, an organization that supports women and children who have experienced domestic violence and promotes gender equality in Malaysia.
“Mabuhay Philippines. I’m happy to get to wear this beautiful traditional outfit, and I look forward to trying traditional dishes in the Philippines, as well. I’m so sad that it’s not going to be a long visit, as I just got two days to be here. I wish I could stay a little bit longer,” Rasindran said, wearing an elegant light violet Filipiniana dress.
“I’ll be glad to cook our famous ‘Adobo’ for you,” Payumo, who hosted the event, offered the visiting queen.
“You’re such an incredible and beautiful woman. We’re lucky to have you here in the Philippines,” said Carter, who was happy to meet Rasindran again after they competed in Miss Charm 2024 in December.
“I think that I have done my part as Miss Charm 2024, where I actually embraced and promoted the culture of different countries and people worldwide. I have also been working with the Miss Charm organization in Malaysia, promoting the importance of education for women and children. We also helped victims of abuse, assisted them legally, and taught and trained them to be strong, to be able to speak and stand up for themselves,” Rasindran said when asked about her accomplishments as Miss Charm 2024.
