Kapamilya actress Kim Chiu unveiled a dramatic hairstyle change, chopping off her famous long locks ahead of her newest project alongside Paulo Avelino.
In an Instagram post, the 35‑year‑old star showed off a sleek shoulder‑length cut. It’s her first time to cut her hair short for a role, after nearly two decades of keeping it long since entering showbiz in 2006
“After 19 years, it’s time for something new,” she wrote in the caption.
Chiu and Avelino are reuniting in The Alibi, a highly anticipated teleserye set to begin production soon.
This new series will be Kim’s fourth project with on-screen partner Paulo Avelino.
Before this, the pair worked together on the Filipino adaptation of What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim, Linlang, and the hit movie My Love Will Make You Disappear.
