THE Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) thanked the Land Transportation Office (LTO) for prompt action against a motorist who has repeatedly violated traffic laws by illegally entering the exclusive EDSA Busway.
The LTO placed the sports utility vehicle (SUV) under alarm, as it has habitually entered the EDSA Busway more than 300 times since 2022.

LTO chief Vigor D. Mendoza II, stated that a show cause order (SCO) has been issued against the owner of the van, a resident of Quezon City.
“The SCO was our immediate response to MMDA Chairman Don Artes’s request for assistance in addressing the case of this repeat offender in the exclusive bus lane along EDSA,” said Mendoza.
