Pampanga 1st District Rep. Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin Jr. pledged a P100,000 incentive from his own pocket for police officers who neutralized the most-wanted person in Angeles, Pampanga.
“I offer my congratulations to the operatives of the Angeles City Police Office, under the leadership of PCOL. Joselito Villarosa Jr., for neutralizing the No. 1 most-wanted person in Angeles City – known as “Bungo,” Lazatin said in a statement posted on social media.
Bungo was said to have been evading justice for a decade.
According to the Pampanga lawmaker, the fugitive was neutralized during an encounter on May 13 in Brgy. Salcedo, San Manuel, Tarlac
“[T]he neutralization of the threat he poses to safety and security is testament to the hard work and bravery of our policemen,” Lazatin said.
“Rest assured, our office supports the Angeles City Police Office in ensuring the safety of our constituents,” he added.
