To celebrate World Environment Day 2025, SN Aboitiz Power Group (SNAP) organized simultaneous clean-up and vegetable planting activities across its host communities in Isabela and Benguet, under the theme “Beat Plastic Pollution.”
These efforts aim to promote sustainable practices and reduce plastic waste.
In Isabela, around 30 volunteers from SNAP-Magat joined a vegetable planting activity at the Magat Hydroelectric Power Plant to help promote food sustainability.
Meanwhile, clean-up drives at the Ambuklao and Binga plants in Benguet collected about 222 kilograms of plastic waste, turned over to Material Recovery Facilities.
SNAP reaffirmed its commitment to environmental stewardship by working closely with employees, residents, the Philippine Army, and local indigenous groups. The company continues to energize a sustainable future through collaborative action and community engagement.
