Kapuso star Alden Richards has called out Cathay Pacific after discovering his bicycle frame was fractured upon arrival in the Philippines, he revealed in a social media post.
Richards, who’s picked up cycling as a serious hobby in recent months, shared a photo of the damaged bike on his Instagram Story.
Tagging the airline, he expressed his disappointment: “Shoutout to [Cathay Pacific] for fracturing my bike frame and unloading my bike box and bike rack on my way home to the Philippines. This is very upsetting!”
The actor-host, known for his roles in “Hello, Love, Again” and upcoming directorial debut “Out of Order,” has been active in cycling circles and recently completed a 61-kilometer ride in May.
In response, Cathay Pacific said it is aware of the incident and is conducting an investigation.
Richards did not mention any compensation but tagged the airline to prompt a response.
