OUT TO SEA. More than 2,000 Olive Ridley Sea turtle hatchlings head out to sea at Sitio Wawa, Barangay Pag-asa, Bagac, Bataan, yesterday. According to the Coast Guard Sub-Station Bagac (CGSS) Bataan, the hatchlings were safely released and were allowed to imprint on the beach, a crucial process that helps the turtles navigate back when they are ready to lay eggs. Representatives from the Municipal Administrator of Bagac, Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO) Bagac, Bagac Tourism and Pag-asa Pawikan Protection and Conservation Center were also present at the said activity.
