The Philippine National Police (PNP) and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) seized P51-million worth of suspected shabu in Cebu City on Friday.
The PDEA Region 7 also arrested a suspect identified only as Jotex, a 54-year-old unemployed individual during a buy-bust operation along Natalio B. Bacalso Avenue in Barangay Maambaling, Cebu City at 5 a.m.
According to PDEA, the suspect yielded eight packs of suspected shabu weighing 7.5 kilos, with an estimated average market value of P51-million, along with buy-bust money and other non-drug evidence.
The suspect will face non-bailable charges for violating Sections 5 and 11, Article II of Republic Act 9165.
The seized drug evidence was submitted to the PDEA RO7’s laboratory for chemical analysis and proper disposition.
