Fedcenter’s newly launched WAGI (Wealth Advice for Growth and Inclusion) financial literacy app is now available on Google Playstore, offering Filipinos an engaging way to learn about finance while earning rewards.
Unveiled to the media on July 31, 2024, the app provides a wide range of practical financial lessons, covering essentials from basic budgeting to stock investment.
Designed to make financial literacy accessible, WAGI combines educational content with interactive features such as finance tips from celebrities and progress-tracking quizzes. Users can earn a certification for each completed module, making finance education both rewarding and trackable.
What sets WAGI apart is its innovative rewards system. Users accumulate points by completing quizzes, which can be redeemed at partner brands, including popular fast-food chains—a practical incentive encouraging sustained learning. “The more you learn, the more you earn,” the developers emphasized during the app’s launch.
WAGI is powered by WeFund Lending Corporation, the company behind fintech leader JuanHand. Francisco ‘Coco’ Mauricio, President and CEO of WeFund Lending Corp., expressed his enthusiasm for the project: “Financial literacy paves the way for inclusion, which ultimately leads to financial empowerment. Financial empowerment is a cornerstone of national development. We are honored to support WAGI, and we hope other organizations will join us in sustaining its success.”
The app also enjoys the backing of several government entities, including the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Credit Information Corporation (CIC), National Privacy Commission (NPC), and the National Development Corporation (NDC), which underscored WAGI’s potential role in advancing financial literacy and national development.
To begin your journey to financial empowerment, WAGI is now available for download on Google Play Store, or visit www.wagi.com.ph to start learning and earning rewards.
