Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) Commissioner Romeo Lumagui Jr. leads the raid of a clandestine factory that manufactures illicit cigarettes in Cabanatuan City. The BIR assessed P636.93 million of unpaid taxes and penalties against those behind the illicit cigarette factory and arrested 15 Chinese nationals.
