Vice President Sara Duterte on Tuesday proposed a mandatory and televised drug test for all congressional candidates in exchange for her willingness to undergo a neuropsychiatric examination.
Duterte affirmed her willingness to comply with calls from the ‘Young Guns’ in Congress, stating this would not be her first time taking such a test.
“Wala akong problema doon. Game tayo. I will call that a neuropsychiatric exam,” Duterte said.
“Pero dapat lahat ng mga young guns na kandidato, lahat ng mga congressional candidates ay magpa-drug test… As a voter, I demand na magpa-drug test sila. Dahil kung unstable ako, sa paningin ko unstable din sila,” she added.
Duterte claimed that her critics calling her ‘unstable’ fail to recognize that she is a politician, who prioritizes authenticity over public perception.
