The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) reports progress in the construction of the 1.34-kilometer Davao River (Bucana) Bridge, with civil works now more than halfway completed, less than a year after the project began in November 2023. Civil works are showing substantial developments, with accomplishment status now reaching 53.76 percent, and the bridge is anticipated to open to traffic before end-2025.
