IMUS City Mayor Alex Advincula and Cavite Rep. Adrian Jay Advincula were formally proclaimed as relectionist-candidates by Cavite Gov. Jonvic Remulla during a political rally held at the Imus City Grandstand in Malagasang 1-G.
Remulla and Vice Gov. Athena Tolentino raised the hands of the Advinculas as their bets for the May 12, 2025 midterm and local elections, along with councilors Lloyd Jaro and Arnel Cantimbuhan.

Also in the rally were Imus Vice Mayor Homer Saquilayan and 12 municipal councilors.
Some 10,000 beneficiaries of the CARD or Cash and Rice Program under President Ferdinand Marcos Jr and Speaker Martin Romualdez witnessed the event.
Mayor Advincula cited some of his accomplishments in more than two years of his first term.
