ALAMINOS, Laguna- Municipal mayor Greg Flores said this town rose to first class municipality level from third class following a significant increase in its annual revenue.
Flores noted that during his transition term in 2022, total revenue stood at P258.42 million — a sharp rise of P56.33 milion from the previous year.
Last year, the total revenue climbed further to P241.30 million.
He added that as of August, total revenue was at P198.83 million for the first eight months and os on track to surpass previous years’ record.
The mayor also announced the construction of a new government center at Brgy. San Agustin.
He said the modern complex will centalize vital public services and administrative functions, making governance more efficient and accessible to the community.
Flores said by bringing together key offices under one roof, such as the Alaminos police station, fire station, disaster office, amphitheater, and local government offices, several opportunities and benifits will arise.

From our participation in international forums to our social services program like cataract operations and feeding progrqms, we are committed to improving the quality of life for every Alaminosens,” Flores said.
