PRICE FREEZE. A Department of Trade and Industry Iloilo provincial office staff monitors the listed basic necessities in Iloilo City during the price freeze. DTI Region 6 enforced a price freeze on basic necessities in 44 local government units in Iloilo in response to the declaration of a state of calamity due to the dengue outbreak. The price freeze will remain in effect across Iloilo City from Aug. 28 to Oct. 19 as well as in Passi City and 42 other municipalities within the province from Aug. 20 to Oct. 19.
