The Public Attorney’s Office, in partnership with the Volunteers Against Crime and Corruption and the Quezon City Press Club Inc., offered free legal, medical, dental, and optical assistance, plus regular jail visitation and decongestion initiatives at the Correctional Institute for Women in Mandaluyong City. PAO chief Persida Rueda-Acosta, sought support from Speaker Ferdinand Martin Romualdez for her efforts to help persons deprived of liberty at the CIW.
