THE Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) has arrested a couple in a buy-bust operation Oriental Mindoro for illegal possession of suspected shabu worth P5.7 million.
The suspects were identified as Luis Baes, 45, a businessman and farmer, and his wife Lyn Baes, both from Sitio Maije, Barangay Malitbog, Bongabong.

On Sept. 16 at 11 a.m., the suspects met with a poseur-buyer in Sitio Panlanao, Barangay Sagana, Bongabong after a deal to buy one kilo of shabu at P1.51 million.
They also yielded for kilos of shabu packed in Chinese tea bags worth P4.6 million. The couple would be charged with a non-bailable offense in violation of Section 5 and 11 Article II of Republic Act 9165.
