Beneficiaries of Alagang Kapatid Foundation Inc. (AKFI) receive the PLDT-Smart Foundation (PSF) livelihood carts sponsored by employees of PLDT Enterprise for the recent birthday of PLDT Inc. chairman, president and chief executive Manuel Pangilinan. Aimed at helping underprivileged start-up small food ventures, the corporate business arm of PLDT Inc. is the first donor of the newest livelihood program of PSF, the group’s social outreach arm. Each PSF ‘smart cart’ includes Smart Communications Inc. retailer kits powered by Maya, monetary capital for the beneficiaries to purchase initial food cart supplies and basic business training.
