CoCo Ichibanya, a Japanese restaurant chain specializing in Japanese-style curry rice, officially opened a branch at Ayala Malls Solenad in Nuvali, Sta. Rosa, Laguna.
This marked its 16th branch in the country and second in the south following their Alabang Town Center location.
“CoCo Ichibanya is expanding, and we thank all our customers for their support. We are excited to bring the food and service that CoCo Ichibanya is known for all over Japan and the rest of the world,” said Mugen Group president and chief executive officer Hubert Young said.
Mugen Group is the company that brought several popular Japanese food concepts to the Philippines. These brands include the likes of UCC, Shaburi & Kintan, Mitsuyado Seimen, Mos Burger, Tendon Kohaku, and Yamato Cafe by UCC.
CoCo Ichibanya customers can customize their orders according to preference based on mild to spicy flavors, vegetarian to meat choices, and their choice of toppings and side dishes.
The curry house offers selections that range from P260 and up, upgradeable to a set menu at an additional cost.
Curry meals can be paired with Curry Naan Bread Set, Seafood Basket, French Fries Basket, Fried Chicken Salad, Fried Shrimp Salad, and Mini Salad.
Meanwhile, varieties of their best-selling omelette include the Pork Cutlet Omelette Curry, Fried Chicken Omelette Curry, and Beef Omelette Curry.
The restaurant recommends for meat lovers the Pork/Chicken Cutlet Curry, Hamburg Steak Curry, and Meatballs Curry. It also offers mixed options such as the Pork Cutlet & Vegetable Curry and Fried Fish along with the Spinach & Stewed Shrimp Curry.
