Manila Water Company implements improvement projects at the Balara Treatment Plant 2 to futureproof the facility, ensure continuous supply of clean and potable water to its customers while ensuring the safety and well-being of its workforce. The project includes a complete reconstruction of the Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) room, featuring an upgraded SCADA workstation equipment. The Balara Treatment Plant 2, operational since 1958, has a treatment capacity of 1,130 million liters per day.
