Offering

Tribal folks from Hapao, Hungduan Ifugao fashion ‘kina’ag,’ a figure made of rice stalks tightly bound by vines and offered to the life-giving water deities along the Nungulunan River. The offering is also a prayer for a successful rice cycle in the upcoming agricultural season.
