On Aug. 4, the Mall of Asia Arena hosted the Acer Day 2024 concert, featuring ambassadors SB19, Sandara Park, and G22. The show also featured performances from Cup of Joe, TJ Monterde, Ebe Dancel, and Rico Blanco.
The event, hosted by Luis Manzano, attracted over 20,000 attendees both in person and online via Facebook livestream.
“Acer Day connects us with our customers through music and activities that let them try our products, helping them explore endless possibilities and bring their ideas to life,” said Sue Ong Lim, Managing Director of Acer Philippines.
The concert opened with Cup of Joe performing “Wag na Lang,” “Tingin,” and “Estranghero.” TJ Monterde followed with “Mahika,” “Tulad Mo,” and “Palagi.” Ebe Dancel delivered hits like “Hari ng Sablay,” “Makita Kang Muli,” “Wag Kang Umiyak,” and “Bawat Daan.”
During his set, Ebe Dancel recalled performing for Acer executives and employees at a small venue during the pandemic. Rico Blanco energized the crowd with “Antukin,” “Umaaraw Umuulan,” “Your Universe,” “Kisapmata,” and “You’ll be Safe Here.”
The highlight of the evening was Sandara and G22’s performance of “In or Out,” followed by Dara and SB19’s “Reset,” a 2023 collaboration.
G22, known as the “Female Alphas of P-pop,” performed “Boomerang,” “Bang,” “One Sided Love,” and “Loka.” Sandara Park kept the mood upbeat with “Dara Dara,” “I Don’t Care,” and “I’m the Best+Can’t Nobody.” SB19, the “Kings of P-pop,” performed “Gento,” “Hanggang sa Huli,” and “Crimzone,” along with an unreleased song titled “Kalakal” with rapper Gloc 9.
The concert concluded with SB19 and G22 performing “Limitless,” the theme song of Acer Day 2024, composed by SB19 leader Pablo.
