The number of aftershocks recorded by the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) has now reached over 800, following the 6.8-magnitude tectonic earthquake that hit Surigao del Sur on Saturday morning at 6 a.m.
As of 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, Phivolcs has detected 812 aftershocks, with magnitudes ranging from 1.2 to 6.2 and depths varying from 1 to 52 kilometers.

According to Phivolcs, 243 of the total recorded aftershocks were plotted and two events were felt at the affected areas.
