National Bureau of Investigation director Jaime Santiago presents to the media seven Chinese nationals rounded up by his agents in Paranaque City and Quezon City for alleged credit card fraud and bribery. Santiago said the raids were launched amid mounting complaints involving financial scams about such modus as vishing, smishing, phishing, click-baiting, pretexting and whaling, resulting in some bank clients unwittingly losing their deposits.
