Dr. Dennis Serrano, president and chief executive of St. Luke’s Medical Center (SLMC)–Global City, accepts the seal of accreditation as a medical tourism facility from the Department of Tourism (DOT) on July 15, 2024 as part of its mandate to boost the country’s medical tourism offerings. Under the approved National Tourism Development Plan (NTDP) 2023 to 2028, medical tourism was identified as one of the priorities of the DOT in its intent to diversify its tourism portfolio with globally competitive tourism products.
