It was a virtual Christmas in July as Angeles City Mayor Carmelo Lazatin Jr. gifted 4,170 city hall employees with red-soled shoes.
The sneakers were personal gift from Lazatin as a token of his appreciation to the city’s loyal and hardworking personnel.
Previous to the distribution, the mayor handed over a red-soled shoes to Association of Government Employees for a New Dynamic Angeles City (AGENDA) President Flordeliza Santos during the ceremonial turnover held at the Mayor’s Office.
“On behalf of all the employees of Angeles City Hall, we would like to thank Mayor Pogi Lazatin for yet another surprise for us. His thoughtfulness for us employees is more than what we expected,” said Flordeliza Santos, president of the Association of Government Employees for a New Dynamic Angeles City.
Santos was the first to receive a pair of red-soled shoes from the mayor.
