Actress Maris Racal has publicly announced her break up with boyfriend singer-songwriter Rico Blanco.
During a press conference for Star Magic Spotlight, the actress was asked by the press over Blanco’s reaction regarding the popularity of the SnoRene love team which involved her and fellow “Can’t Buy Me Love” star Anthony Jennings.
While initially saying Blanco was supportive of her love team, the actress paused when she was asked if she saw herself married to the singer-songwriter in the future before tearfully admitting that she and Blanco had already ended their relationship.
“Rico and I are over,” she said while smiling through her tears.
“Sa five years namin together, we were always on the same page… I don’t know what happened,” Racal admitted, further saying that the two of them had a hard conversation about it.
Revealing that it has been weeks since their breakup, the actress said that it was a “polite separation” and was “full of love.” She clarified that Jennings had nothing to do with their breakup and that she asked for Blanco’s blessing before announcing their breakup to the public.
Racal and Blanco first announced their relationship in 2021.
