ILOILO City—In the early hours of the morning, a raging fire engulfed more than 10 houses in the Barangays of Tanza Bonifacio and Rizal Estanzuela in this city.
The fire, which broke out just after 2 a.m., quickly escalated to a third alarm, causing widespread panic among the residents.
According to initial reports from Barangay security man Oscar Dalmacion, the blaze was sparked by an unattended candle, leading to the rapid spread of flames that left many families homeless and their personal belongings and property destroyed.
