Following her win at the 2024 Miss Universe Philippines competition, Chelsea Manalo has been gracing various interviews, photo shoots, and public appearances.
One of the recent events where she showcased her dazzling beauty was the Flores de Mayo celebration in Sampaloc, Manila.
Stunning in a peach-colored Filipiniana, Manalo walked through the streets of Manila as the “Reyna ng mga Sampaguita” with her escort, Congressman Sam Verzosa. While sharing some of their photos under the beautiful arch adorned with flowers, Verzosa complimented the beauty queen on his social media.
“First time ko mag Flores de Mayo kasama ang ating mga Reyna ng Miss Universe 2024 at ang napaka-simple at mabait na Miss Universe winner natin na si @manalochelsea sa aming Fiesta sa Sampaloc, Manila,” he said in his post’s caption.
Some photos on his Instagram story also showed him and Manalo holding small plastic bags with soft drinks as they walked.
Other beauty queens also graced the Flores de Mayo parade, like Miss Supranational Philippines 2025 Tarah Valencia and Miss Charm Philippines 2025 Cyrille Payumo. As the Miss Universe Philippines 2024 titleholder, Manalo is set to compete at the Miss Universe 2024 competition in Mexico later this year.
