The Bureau of the Treasury’s auction committee fully awarded the reissued 3-year treasury bonds on Tuesday’s auction.
The reissued bond series 03-30, with a remaining term of 2 years and 7 months, fetched an average rate of 6.347 percent, lower than the prevailing secondary market rates.

It said the auction was nearly 2.4 times oversubscribed with total tenders reaching P71.4 billion.
“With its decision, the committee raised the full program of P30.0 billion, bringing the total outstanding volume for the series to P90.0 billion,” the Treasury said.
