Pop star Ariana Grande has teased her fans with a sneak peek of the music video for ‘The Boy is Mine,’ the eighth track on her seventh studio album, “Eternal Sunshine.”
In her post on Instagram, the singer bears a soft look with a white blouse with puffy sleeves under a black dress with thin straps. Her hair is tied in a complicated bun with two large needles pinning it in place.
Another photo has her back turned to the camera while she gazes at a portrait of a person whose face is obscured from view. In the background, several bottles can be seen along with two red hearts secured to the wall with the words “true love” and “be mine” written on them.
Grande had tagged her Sweetener account on the post, which was what she had previously used to promote the entire album. On the account’s page, an array of photos bearing the look of a scrapbook showed more clues about the upcoming music video.
Along with a sketch of the lower half of the face of a person resembling the one in the portrait, a few lines from “The Boy is Mine” can also be read in the collage.
“…loading single 3… trailer & official announcement coming soon,” the caption on the Sweetener account’s post read.
Grande released Eternal Sunshine last March 8 along with the video for its second single “We Can’t Be Friends (Wait For Your Love).”
