GMA Network capped off a sizzling April by bringing some of its brightest stars to headline major festivals across the country.
Up north, the festivities were extra special with balladeer Christian Bautista serenading Miss San Carlos City 2024 candidates on April 12. Sparkle artist Ysabel Ortega even joined the pageant as a judge, adding a touch of elegance to the event at San Carlos City Public Auditorium, San Carlos City, Pangasinan.
The celebration continued at the Mango-Bamboo Festival last April 15 at San Carlos City Public Auditorium where Shining Inheritance stars Kyline Alcantara, Kate Valdez, Roxie Smith, and Michael Sager and Lilet Matias Attorney-at-Law actors Jason Abalos and EA Guzman entertained the crowd.
Chef JR Royol of Farm to Table brought some cooking inspiration to the Pangasinenses with his special participation at the Ponsia: The Pangasinan Culinary Challenge for Pistay Dayat 2024 on April 13 at Provincial Training and Development Center II, Lingayen, Pangasinan.
Western Visayas wasn’t left out. Fans in Negros Occidental and Capiz were treated to performances by Martin del Rosario, Jasmine Curtis-Smith, and Hannah Precillas during the Kinalipay sa Isabela, Sina-ot Festival, and Pasalamat Festival celebrations.
The celebration of Pistay Dayat 2024 last April 20 was made even more remarkable through the surprises and performances of Kelvin Miranda, Asawa ng Asawa Ko cast Jasmine Curtis-Smith, Joem Bascon, and Martin Del Rosario, and Abot-Kamay na Pangarap stars Jillian Ward, Jeff Moses, and Pinky Amador. Making the evening even livelier was Vaness del Moral, host of the Kapuso Fiesta at Capitol Beach Park, Lingayen, Pangasinan.
Special performances and appearances elevated the Pistay Dayat Festival. Makiling star Derrick Monsterio serenaded the crowd during the Limgas na Pangasinan Coronation Night on April 26. He was joined by Miss Universe 2023 Michelle Dee as one of the judges. Martin Javier, host of 24 Oras’ “Game Changer” segment, showcased his hosting skills at the event.
At the Takayan na Dayew singing competition on April 29, All-Out Sunday artists Anthony Rosaldo and Jeremiah Tiangco captivated the audience with their performances.
The festivities continued with Lianne Valentin and Widows’ War actor Juancho Triviño dancing at the Gayaga: Pangasinan Festival Street Dance Exhibition on May 1.
In Tarlac City, Kapuso Fiesta on April 17 featured Andrea Torres and Kaloy Tingcungco, along with Abot-Kamay na Pangarap star Richard Yap. They were joined by Lilet Matias: Attorney-at-Law stars Jason Abalos, Zonia Mejia, and Joaquin Domagoso, with Chariz Solomon as the event host.
In Cabarroguis, Quirino, Carla Abellana, Paul Salas, Mikee Quintos, Carlo San Juan, Larkin Castor, and Boobay delighted fans at the Kapuso Fiesta during the Motorino Festival on April 21.
Meanwhile, in Isabela, Negros Occidental on April 25, Hannah Precillas, Prince Clemente, Bruce Roeland, and Pekto entertained crowds at the Kinalipay sa Isabela celebration.
On the same day in President Roxas, Capiz, Martin del Rosario, Angela Alarcon, and Jon Lucas brought joy to the Sina-ot Festival through a Kapuso Fiesta. Similarly, in La Carlota City, Negros Occidental, stars from Lilet Matias: Attorney at Law and The Boobay and Tekla Show lit up the Pasalamat Festival on April 26.
Batangueños were treated to a star-studded Kapuso Mall Show in Lipa City, Batangas, featuring a lineup including Running Man PH, Pepito Manaloto, Asawa ng Asawa Ko, and Abot-Kamay ng Pangarap stars, as well as host Maey Bautista.
In Hinoba-an, Negros Occidental, Katrina Halili, Royce Cabrera, Mikee Quintos, and Radson Flores brought positive energy to fans at the Pagbana-ag Festival. Zamboanga City saw Yasser Marta andJuancho Triviño adding kilig to the coronation of Ms. Zambowood 2024 on April 29.
Dagupan City’s Bangus Festival on April 30 was celebrated with fervor, headlined by Makiling, Running Man PH, and The Boobay and Tekla Show stars, along with Anthony Rosaldo. Lastly, on April 30, Miss Universe Philippines 2021 Bea Gomez participated in the coronation night of Hangaway kag Lin-ay sang Capiz 2024 in Roxas City, Capiz, concluding the month’s fiery Kapuso events.
