Singer-songwriter Taylor Swift has once again teased her fans by posting new lyrics from her upcoming album, “The Tortured Poets Department,” just days before its release.
In a post shared on her official social media pages, Swift holds a phantom clear vinyl version of the album. She captions it with a line hinting at another song on the album: “I wish I could un-recall how we almost had it all.”
This isn’t the only cryptic clue Swift has dropped. Previously, she shared lyrics from another song in an Instagram story. A short video showed a typewriter typing out the words: “Crowd goes wild at her fingertips. Half moonshine, Full eclipse.”
“The Tortured Poets Department,” first announced during Swift’s acceptance speech at the 66th Grammy Awards, will be a 16-track album. It features two collaborations: rapper Post Malone on “Fortnight” and indie rock band Florence and the Machine on “Florida!!!” Fans can also choose from four physical editions, each with a unique bonus track: “The Manuscript,” “The Bolter,” “The Albatross,” and “The Black Dog.”
Following the record-breaking Asia leg of her “Eras Tour,” Swift has been on a tour break since March. She’ll kick off her European leg in Paris on May 9 at the La Défense Arena.
“The Tortured Poets Department” is officially released on April 19.
