Singer-songwriter sweethearts KZ Tandingan and TJ Monterde recently flew to Singapore to catch Taylor Swift in concert. But before the celebrity couple took to the National Stadium to catch the Eras Tour, KZ and TJ got to squeeze in a day filled with ordinary moments made extraordinary in Singapore. They also shared that they celebrated one of their anniversaries in Singapore in less than 24 hours.

As captured in TJ’s vlog, discover some of the food spots and fun attractions in store for Filipino travelers looking to explore Singapore.

Breakfast at Maxwell Food Centre
Open from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m., Maxwell Food Centre is a treasure trove of hawker delights. It first opened in the 1950s as a wet market and has evolved through the years to become one of Singapore’s most popular food hubs. From chicken rice to oyster cakes, both locals and tourists alike flock to Maxwell Food Centre to get a taste of Singaporean cuisine.

Lunch at Red House Seafood
Now operating in three locations across Singapore, Red House Seafood has delighted diners since 1976. The institution prides itself in Singapore Nanyang-style seafood – a style grounded in the Southern regions of China with influences from Malay, Indian, and Peranakan traditions.

One of the highlights of their date includes a romantic bike ride

A sweet date at the Museum of Ice Cream
Designed to be a space for connecting with friends and family, Singapore’s Museum of Ice Cream features multi-sensory installations, an indoor carnival, and the world’s largest sprinkle pool! Visitors can learn all about ice cream while indulging in sweet treats perfect for the Singapore weather.

A spectacular view of Marina Bay from 165 meters above
The Singapore Flyer is one of the largest observation wheels in the world. Established in March 2008, travelers from across the world have toured their way to marvel at the breathtaking views of Marina Bay from the Singapore Flyer’s capsules. A scenic spin on the Singapore Flyer takes tourists 165 meters above ground, or as high as 42 stories. From its vantage point, tourists can witness the historical sights from Marina Bay to the Singapore River, such as Raffles Place, Merlion Park, Empress Place, and the Padang.
