Manila Electric Co. (Meralco) installs a new 69-kilovolt (kV) 50 MVAR capacitor bank at its Alagao Switching Station in San Ildefonso, Bulacan to improve the electricity service in the area. Entailing an investment of P31.11 million, the project also involves the installation of an independent pole operation power circuit breaker and other ancillary equipment. This will improve the voltage level in the area, benefitting major industrial customers including Eagle Cement Corp.
