A love story that transcends time

Just in time to conclude the love month, After All emerges as a heartening remedy for both the loveless and lovelorn. With its message of hope, the film explores the intricacies of love that stand the test of time.

Directed by Adolf Alix Jr., the story intertwines the lives of Joseph (Kelvin Miranda), Czarina “Yna” (Beauty Gonzalez), and Joey (Teejay Marquez) in a tale where love transcends not just mortal boundaries but also the cycles of reincarnation.

At its core, the story revolves around the intricate dynamics between Joey and his mother.

The film opens by establishing the bond between Joey and Yna. After a public scandal involving his girlfriend (Devon Seron), Joey reveals his homosexuality. Seeking refuge, Joey and Yna head to their beach house, where Czarina encounters Joseph. She finds it unusual that he addresses her by her real name, hinting at a deeper connection.

As days pass, an unexpected development unfolds. While Joey navigates his newfound feelings for Joseph, Yna also finds herself drawn to the charming young man. This unexpected love triangle intensifies the film’s emotional core.

After All had a red carpet premiere at SM Megamall on Feb. 26, and fans loved the chemistry between Beauty and Kelvin, especially the romantic scenes filmed in Bolinao, Pangasinan.

The theme song by Juan Carlos Galano, who is also part of the film, fits the film’s emotions.

Produced by ALV Flims, with story concept by GMA-7 FVP for Program Management Joey Abacan, and with screenplay by Gina Marissa Tagasa, After All premiered on over 100 screens and is now available in cinemas nationwide.
