Jungkook graces Grand Central Station for Calvin Klein’s spring campaign

Korean pop idol Jungkook of global supergroup BTS has taken center stage once again as the face of Calvin Klein’s latest campaign, this time for their Spring/Summer 2024 collection.

Following his highly successful debut as the brand’s ambassador in March 2023, Jungkook continues to captivate the audience with his undeniable charisma and effortless cool.

Shot by renowned photographer Mert Alas, the brand’s campaign unfolds in the iconic Grand Central Station in New York City. Captured against the backdrop of bustling architecture and deserted platforms, Jungkook’s effortless confidence and natural charisma as he navigates the nearly empty station, modeling the brand’s latest denim and apparel collection.

Dressed in key pieces from the Calvin Klein Jeans collection, including relaxed-fit denim, a classic white tee, and an unbuttoned black shirt, the brand says that he embodies the brand’s signature “youthful energy”.

“The campaign amplifies Jungkook’s status as a global popstar, showcasing his natural confidence as he takes over the iconic Grand Central Station in new Calvin Klein Jeans styles,” the brand states in a press release.

The campaign video, launched on February 14th, 2024, quickly went viral, generating millions of views and trending worldwide on social media. Set to the iconic song “The Passenger” by Iggy Pop, it showcases Jungkook’s playful energy and natural confidence as he dances through the empty station, drawing viewers into his captivating world.

The photoshoot marks his return to Grand Central Station, nearly four years after BTS famously performed their song “ON” for “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” in 2020.

While BTS is currently on hiatus as members fulfill their mandatory military service, the ARMY continues to enjoy solo releases from each member, including Jungkook’s “Golden” album.

The group is set to reunite in 2025.
