Lucy Lynette Ponce Uygongco, wearing a Dinagyang warrior costume with her three dogs, paddles along the Iloilo River, on the eve of the Dinagyang festival in Iloilo City on Jan. 27. Uygongco, a native of Bacolod City, became the first woman to cross Iloilo to Guimaras via stand up paddle board in 2022.
