The five-minute video opened with a dramatic scene, where IU and V find themselves desperately fleeing from a mysterious, cube-shaped entity in a barren landscape. The world seems ravaged, reflecting a terrifying future where love appeared to be threatened.

Seeking refuge, they found an abandoned building. They discovered a camcorder and through this lens, they envisioned a simpler life, filled with shared meals, and the joy of dressing up in wedding attire.

But their escape from hardship is short-lived. The entity soon caught up, shattering their utopia. The video ended with a poignant image of IU and V embracing each other, trapped in the entity’s clutches.

Fan quickly took to their X accounts to showed their support for the two Korean idols and praised them for their acting.

Both IU and V had their respective Korean dramas. IU was popularly known for her series such as “Scarlet Heart Ryeo: Moon Lovers”, “Hotel Del Luna”, and “My Mister”. On the other hand, V had his acting debut when he was casted as one of the characters of the hit series “Hwarang”.

The music video was taken before V began his military enlistment last year.

Beyond the stunning visuals and captivating performances, the music video sparked discussions before about IU’s decision to change the song’s title from “Love Wins” to “Love Wins All.”

The original title raised concerns among some online users, who felt it might inadvertently appropriate a phrase associated with the LGBTQIA+ rights movement.

EDAM Entertainment, IU’s agency, responded with a statement acknowledging these concerns and emphasizing their respect for “everyone who loves in their various ways.” They further expressed their hope that the song’s core message of love and unity would ultimately prevail.

“We decided to change the title to respect and support everyone who loves in their various ways, and we accept the opinions of those who express concerns that precious messages might be blurred due to the title,” it said.

“We deeply hope that the original message of the song is delivered without leaving any scars on anyone,” it added.

“Love Wins All” serves as a pre-release track for IU’s upcoming album, marking her first comeback in over two years.

This collaboration is further exciting for fans who have long admired the mutual respect and support between IU and BTS. Their previous collaboration, “eight” with Suga, remains a fan favorite, and “Love Wins All” only strengthens their artistic bond.

IU’s upcoming world tour, the H.E.R. tour, adds another layer of excitement to this release. She is scheduled to perform at the Philippine Arena on June 1, giving fans a chance to experience the magic of “Love Wins All” live.
