A farmer in Sitio Sinarol, Siniloan, Laguna diligently attends to his self-imposed mission of planting rice so he can support his family and at the same time help feed his countrymen. The Department of Agriculture revealed that close to 44,800 farmers nationwide received P5,000 in unconditional cash assistance as promised by President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. under the P12-billion Rice Farmers Financial Assistance program.
