NBA hosted an NBA Cares packing project at the NBA Community Court presented by TITAN in Mandaluyong City. NBA staff and members of the vivo’s marketing team assembled care packages for high school students from select public schools around the NBA Community Court. Each package included a “Republika ng NBA” hyperlocal t-shirt, a pair of socks and slippers, Gatorade bottle, and vivo-branded backpack and water bottle. Ahead of World Basketball Day on Dec. 21, the initiative fostered the spirit of community and celebrated the season of giving by providing boys and girls with official NBA gear that will inspire play and bring them together through their shared love for the game.
