The Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development is touting a housing project in Bacoor City, Cavite as an ideal in-city government housing strategically located in the city center.
Housing Secretary Jose Rizalino Acuzar commended Bacoor Mayor Strike Revilla and the city government for allotting a lot in Barangay Zapote 1 for the project under President Marcos Jr.’s Pambansang Pabahay para sa Pilipino (4PH) Program.
“The location is so nice, right in front of the barangay hall, near the school, hospital, market, and most especially, adjacent to a commercial area. This is the concept of an in-city, township development under the Pambansang Pabahay that no one would be displaced to a far area,” Acuzar said.
“You can be assured of DHSUD’s all-out support to ensure the success of the project for the Bacooreno,” he told the local government unit.
Dubbed Strike Towers, the housing project aims to construct nine 15-story buildings composed of 1,890 condominium-type units complete with open spaces, parks, and other amenities.
Acuzar and Revilla led the groundbreaking of the project last week, signaling the start of the development with the support of the Pag-IBIG Fund.
About 20 housing projects under the flagship Pambansang Pabahay Program are in various stages of development and construction throughout the country.
In Bacolod City, 288 condominium-type housing units are scheduled to be delivered next month.
