Biñan City–Thirty-eight assorted firearms, assorted magazines, and thousands of rounds of ammunition were confiscated following a raid in Biñan City over the weekend.
Authorities raided several residences at Amsterdam St., Town and Country, Barangay Langkiwa in Biñan City and arrested Jose Francisco Ramos III, who is the subject of the search warrant.
Ramos introduced himself as an AFP officer and was “recruiting” through social media individuals who wanted to join the Philippine Wildlife Sentinel Unified Command, which turned out to be a bogus group.
Ramos is also not part of any organization under the AFP, authorities also said.
Members of the CIDG Laguna Provincial Field Unit, joint Philippine National Police (PNP), and Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) teams implemented the five search warrants for the raid. Roy Tomandao
