Actress and entrepreneur Dimples Romana has embarked on the journey of creating a skincare line that caters to both men and women with a vision rooted in inclusivity and simplicity. “With everything that I have to deal with every day, I would prefer applying the least amount of thinking for skincare because it’s often taken for granted. We aim to adapt to that mindset. I feel that skin is skin, and the only difference lies in the activities we engage in. That’s why we designed the skincare line to be as generic as possible, suitable for all skin types,” Dimples told Manila Standard Life during the launch of Dreamcake, a skincare line born in Korea but designed for Filipino skin.

“Dreamcake is a versatile and pocket-friendly marvel for all skin enthusiasts,” the 38-year-old actress added. 

Dimples articulated their vision for Dreamcake, emphasizing their goal to create products that are not only versatile and portable but also destined to become household names. 

“Our aim is for these products to resonate with people from all walks of life, transcending gender and social status barriers,” she explained. 

“In a world where time is a precious commodity, our vision for Dreamcake is to craft products that offer the utmost convenience and require minimal time while delivering maximum effectiveness and results. We understand the demands of modern life, and we want our products to be a seamless addition to one’s daily routine, ensuring that self-care becomes effortless and impactful,” she continued.

The product launch was graced by the Dreamcake team, led by the dynamic Chief Operating Officer, Maebelle Sacdalan, and the imaginative Creative Director, Gian Gonzales.

Priced at a suggested retail price (SRP) of P1200, but currently available at an introductory offer of P999, Dreamcake allows customers to dive into the Dreamcake experience without breaking the bank. Each multipurpose product is a toner, serum, moisturizer, essence, and even a primer, offering skin-savvy users the benefits of a comprehensive skincare regimen bundled into one.
