San Fernando, Pampanga – The Department of Health Central Luzon Center for Health Development (DOH CLCHD) will start today the administration of bivalent COVID-19 vaccines to government employees in Region 3 (Central Luzon).

The two-day vaccination will be conducted at DOH CLCHD main office building, Diosdado Macapagal Government Center, here where workers of regional line agencies and government-owned and controlled corporations will receive the jabs that offer protection against the original virus strain and the Omicron variant and subvariants.

Eligible individuals include government employees whether they are permanent, contract of service, casual, or job order, aged 18 years old and above, and with at least four months of interval from the latest Covid-19 vaccine dose. The DOH said the bivalent vaccines are limited in supplies and the vaccinations will be done on a “first come, first served” basis.

The bivalent vaccines were initially administered to healthcare workers, senior citizens and individuals with comorbidities.
